LETTER TO CANDIDATES FOR MEMBERSHIPS.
Dear prospective Member,
In 1979 I Co-founded Voicemail International Inc. and in 1983 co-founded the International Voicemail Association. In 1999 I was co-founder of NetNumber. I spent 4 years with Microsoft coordiinating 3rd party developers and retired.
In searching for ways to manage my email and text I recently identified the Shake & Stir, RCID and Trusted AI programs which are very close to the Voicemail in the '80s. I created and scaled a new communications category. I organized the telecom industry around a voicemail initiative.
I believe the advent of AI communications now require a similar industry effort around trust, identity, and authorization. I believe AI communications are approaching a similar inflection point. Before millions of AI agents begin communicating with humans and with each other, a framework for trust is essential for success..
I believe that a Association is essential to answer "How does the world regain the lost trust before AI-to-human and AI-to-AI communications reach a critical mass and it becomes difficult, if not impossible."
I am asking for your support of the initiative for a Trusted Telecom Association as a reasonable way to address this question and insure global success to the +Trusted AI industry!
Age makes it unrealistic to consider participating beyond the Association's formation but I would consider an Advisory Role for some time to come. The IVMA elected an Board of Directors that guided their program and deserved credit for the worldwide wide proliferations of Voicemail Services.!
BRIEF SURVEY!.
1. Do you believe AI-generated communications require new trust frameworks?
2. Would your organization participate in a meeting to discuss the scope and responsibilies of TTA?
3. Would your organization consider becoming a founding member of a Trusted Telecom Association.
